Printing the future of radio-frequency

The Brief

A sky-rocketing Swiss startup based in Lausanne, Swissto12 needed a full-on rethinking of their look& feel. The fast growing company contracted One. Stop to re-design their original website as well as create a promotional animated video to explain and present their service

The Challenge

  • Increasing the product’s visual appeal
  • Developing our client’s dynamic, world class identity
  • Creating a premium video detailing the manufacturing process

The Result

After researching various styles (2D, photography, 3D…), we came to the conclusion that the best way to represent the client’s product was in photorealistic 3D.  
Yes, these are 3D renderings, not photos.

The three dimensional nature and the labyrinthine tendency of the products were a great playground for us creatives.

Colour-wise, One.Stop opted for a simple, bi-colored palette: a powerful yet pleasant red evoking Swiss-made quality and reinforcing Swissto12’s premium feel, associated to a pure white expressing the ease-of use, simplicity and efficiency of the process.

It also helped that both colours went perfectly well with the gold, silver, copper and red colours of the client’s products.

Promotional video

A few years earlier, prior to the above brand development, Swissto12 asked us to create a promotional video detailing their concept and unique selling propositions.  This resulted in a fun 3D video, but is a good example of what can happen if you do not first define clear brand guidelines – you might end up with various assets that do not necessarily correlate together.
